This is from a set of photos taken from the Spinaker Tower in Pompey, all over the period of about 1 hour.
Equipment:
- Camera - EOS 550D
- Lens - Canon 10-22mm, Canon 28-135mm
Workflow:
- Canon DPP to remove the blue colour cast from the windows and resize down to 1616x1080
- ImageMagick to create tilt-shift effect:
convert {input file} -sigmoidal-contrast 8x60% -modulate 100,150 \( +clone -blur 0x8 \) \( +clone -sparse-color Barycentric '0,0 black 0,%h white' -function polynomial 10,-10,2.5 \) -compose blend -set option:compose:args 100 -composite {output file}
- Avidemux to stitch jpg into an XVid avi
Not sure I've got the ImageMagick stuff quite right for the tiltshift yet.
There are also a few frames where someone wearing light coloured clothes walked behind the camera, which reflected off of the glass.
There's also quite a bit of pixelation on the Flash video.
